<p style="text-align: justify;">The  Computer Society of India (CSI) is a  pioneer society of IT  professionals. The society was established in the  year 1965 and has  more than 61 chapters and 381 student branches spread  across eight  regions in the country. The Society provides platform for  IT  professionals, academicians and students to share and exchange their   thoughts and ideas. The society organizes several activities such as   conferences, seminars, workshops, exhibitions, training programs. It has   five divisions that focus on the development of specific areas such as   Hardware, Software, Science Application, Education management etc.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>The CSI Student Branch at Dharmsinh Desai University – Nadiad</strong> was established in the year 2005. Keeping in mind the interest of the   IT professionals &amp; computer users, CSI works towards, making the   profession an area of choice amongst all sections of the society. The   promotion of Information Technology as a profession is the top priority   of CSI today. Currently 224 students of different branches are having   CSI Student membership.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">After the Inception of CSI Student Branch- DDU, it organizes so many numbers of events. List of such events are:</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Short Term Training Programs:</strong> REDHAT 133 Module, .Net Technology, MATLAB</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Workshops conducted: </strong>Ethical Hacking, PC   Assembling, Non linear video editing, Linux Installation, Networking,   Hardware and Troubleshooting, Hacking Prevention Web Designing,   Photoshop, Software Development, Graphics in C, Mobile Game Development   using J2ME, Drupal.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Expert Lectures:</strong> Digital Video Broadcasting, 64- Bit Microprocessor, GIS, Mobile   Computing, How to write a research paper?, Trends in Computing, CMMI, IT   and Security, Advanced Java Features, Web Evolution, Network Security,   Windows tweaks and tricks.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Seminars: </strong>Cloud Computing, Search Engine Optimization, Study  of  Computer Science in USA, How to prepare for campus interviews, How  to  prepare for campus interviews, Information Security, SAP, Software   Testing, Hacking Prevention</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Other  events like Programming Quiz,  Programming Competition, General Quiz,  Knowledge Sharing Programming  were conducted time to time.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Addition to all above CSI Student Branch has been conducted two Technical Festivals “<strong>Clarotechnico-08 State Level”, “Clarotechnico-10 Regional Level” , </strong>“<strong>Clar</strong><strong>otechnico-11 State Level” and &#8220;Clarotechnico-12 Regional Level&#8221;.<br />
