About Us
The BCA Department was established in the year 1999 as a constituent center of DDIT. At present the center is offering a three year Bachelor Programme in Computer Applications. The infrastructure in the center includes computers having Windows and LINUX servers with P-IV processor, 512 MB RAM in each PC. This center also provides facilities of surfing internet on highly configured computers. The center offers training in languages like C, the concept of Object-Oriented Techniques with the C++ and JAVA. We also provide the knowledge of making user-interface and advanced application development using visual programming language like VISUAL BASIC and ADVANCED JAVA and the knowledge of database like MS-ACCESS and ORACLE. INDUSTRIAL PROJECT TRANING in the last semester enables the student to make a professional career in the TECH WORLD. The syllabus is regularly updated coping up with industrial demand. Review and suggestions from the Industry is regularly obtained.
Student Activities
A State level technical event named ‘Constellation’ is also organized every year where students get a platform to present their research works and share their knowledge
Where knowledge prevails, where mind boggling ideas flow in, where thoughts sail in technical adventure, and most importantly where technology is defined is “CONSTELLATION”. After a grand success, with an aim to recognize genies minds of various colleges and making them event is going to be organized by the B.C.A. Department, DDU, Nadiad and this time with more enthusiasm and innovative ideas. It is going to become a bridge between you and success. It is the “GIVE AND TAKE OF KNOWLEDGE”. It will enhance your knowledge as well as your self-confidence. It is making an extravagant effort to act as a confidence booster to all those who are eager to experiment with their extra ordinary capabilities,incredible talents and fantastic knowledge in any possible way.
We have opened this website for BCA students of Dharmsinh Desai University. They can download and read their subjects related resources like Assignments, Question Papers, Practical List, Lab Manuals, Presentation etc.
Here, you will get all latest lecture notes, presentation as your college teaching going ahead. Now, you do not need to copy the lecture notes. It will greatly save your time and you can give more concentration towards teaching in your lecture rather than writing notes.
We are happy to introduce about our BCA Students Community Forum. We have recently launched it.
