About Us

The Dharmsinh Desai University set up a Center for Management Studies in 1994 to make the management education more accessible to Student of diverse backgrounds. While from the year 2006, the program has joined GCET common entrance test and the MBA program is now open to the students from all the disciplines, until 2005, an uniquely structured B.E.+MBA integrated programme was offered by the Department – which provided well-recognised career-path potential of the Engineering and Management combination. In addition to its novel design of the curriculum, now, the programme also provided for a good mix of faculty from the academics and the industry. The center also conducts regular Management Development Programmes (MDPs) for practicing managers and provides management consultations to various organizations.

USP of the Centre For Management Studies:

1. Many faculty members are the alumni of various IITs and IIMs and have got diversified experience of industry. A mixture of young and experienced faculty members help create a perfect learning environment.

2. Faculty members are engaged in continuous research publications. The faculty members provide consultancy to many organizations like Sunflag [Arusha-Tanzania], NDDB, Dudhsagar Dairy, Mafatlal, Government and Non-government organizations.

3. Various students’ activities like Personality Development Programmes, Thursday Afternoon Seminar Series and Post Lunch Sessions.

4. Transparent result system whereby answer-sheets are shown to the students.
