Bachelor of Computer Applications (B. C. A)
Candidate for admission to the Bachelor of Computer Application course must have passed H.S.C. Examination with at least 45% (40 for reserved category) marks excluding practicals. The candidate must have passed the HSC examination with English and any one of the following subjects under General or Science stream. i.e. Mathematics or Statistics or Business mathematics or Accountancy/Elements of accounting or Accountancy & book keeping. The admission is made at Institute level based on the marks obtained in HSC examination. All the seats are available under self-financed category. Admission to management quota under self-financed category is done as per the prevailing norms
Master of Computer Applications (M. C. A)
M.C.A. admission is based on centralized entrance test conducted at state level. Degree in science or commerce or management or engineering under (10+2+3) pattern or equivalent with at least second-class having obtained not less than 50% marks (5% relaxation for SC/ST) at aggregate of a recognized University is the minimum eligibility for admissions. The candidate must have studied mathematics or statistics or business mathematics as one of the subject at HSCE level. Seats are available in grant-in aid as well as self-finance category. Admission to management quota under self-financed category is done as per the prevailing norms.
Bachelor of Business Administration (B. B. A.)
- A student seeking admission into the course for the Degree of Bachelor of Business Administration( B.B.A ) must have passed the higher secondary examination conducted by the Gujarat Secondary Education Board in General / Science Stream with 45% ( 40% marks in case of reserved categories ) or Higher Secondary examination from Central Examination Board, New Delhi or I.S.C.E. Board or any other equivalent examination in Second class with (1) English and (2) Mathematics or Statistics or Accountancy ( Book keeping and Accountancy ) subjects , at first attempt , practical marks will be excluded.
- A student who has passed an equivalent examination from Central Examination Board, New Delhi or I.S.C.E. Board of any other equivalent Examination and is seeking admission to college affiliated to this University shall not be admitted without producing an Eligibility Certificate from the Dharmsinh Desai University.
Admission will be granted strictly on the merit basis and separate lists will be prepared for Open and Reserved category candidates.
Master of Business Administration (M. B. A.)
M.B.A. admission is based on the GCET Test. For this test, the candidate must have fulfilled all the pre-requisites. Admission is available in grant-in aid as well as self-finance category (30 seats each). The Department has surrendered its Management Quota to the GCET Committee; hence no such admission is available. Admission under NRI category is done as per the prevailing Government norms.
